Cycle Werks is now a complete store with a large show room, warehouse and repair shop. Cycling enthusiasts are able to easily see different styles of bikes and accessories around the showroom.
“Bowling Green is a very cycling-friendly community, so having our options visible is important so that customers can easily find what they need and so that they can see what ‘things’ are available to them in order to make their cycling experience better,” says Pickering.
Popular bikes found at both stores are hybrid bicycles, on and off road bikes, which are the most popular type of bicycle sold at Cycle Werks.
“These bicycles are the perfect choice for people who want to recreate and just ride a bike for fun,” says Pickering.
Hybrid bicycles are a blend of both road and mountain bikes. Some of the components of a hybrid bicycle include wider wheels that are great for stability, lighter components for going faster, and flat handlebars.
According to Pickering, Cycle Werks most popular type of service is tune-ups because they are one of the only bicycle shops in town. Tune-ups include cleaning the chain and brakes and checking the tire pressure.
